Making Words with Einstein

It’s time for the Wednesday Website suggestion!! For two years, I was the Technology Specialist at a school in Georgia. During that time, I amassed a large collection of websites that I use with my students. If you want to search through some of them, you can check out my IKeepBookmarks site. Or, you can check back Word Wiz - An educational word making game for kidhere each week for the Wednesday Website suggestion.

While searching for fun, but educational games for my kids, I re-stumbled up on this great word game, called Word Wiz.  It’s a two part game:  Part 1 – kids connect letters to make words before the tetris-like letter tiles fill the board.  Part 2 – if a question mark hits the bottom, the students get to answer a vocabulary question for bonus points.  It’s a great game for kids to play this summer – one of those games that looks like it’s just fun, bWord Wiz - An educational word making game for kidsut actually works on educational skills too!  Be warned, thought, it’s quite addictive.  I sat and played for 20 minutes before I gave my sons a turn!

What’s your favorite “educational” game right now?
