Kids Research Website

It’s time for the Wednesday Website suggestion!! For two years, I was the Technology Specialist at a school in Georgia. During that time, I amassed a large collection of websites that I use with my students. If you want to search through some of them, you can check out my IKeepBookmarks site. Or, you can check back here each week for the Wednesday Website suggestion.

This weeks’ Wednesday Website suggestion is a go-to site for a bunch of subjects, including: math, biology, Kids Know It Network - Research Site for Studentsgeography, history and spelling.  For each subject, it has informational webpages, which are great for student-led research projects.  In addition, there are games, movie clips (run through YouTube) and songs specifically geared to the topics.  It’s really a one stop shop for so many of your content area subjects.  I just discovered this one, but I can’t wait to use it with my kids this year!  It’s called the Kids Know It Network – how could you use it with your class?
