Schools Around the World Helping Out Schools in the Philippines

Help us raise money for schools devestated by typhoon hainan. In December, the students at the International School of Morocco helped to raise 6,000 Moroccan Dirhams ($ 731.52) to help two schools in the Philippines who were severely impacted by Typhoon Hainan.   Our goal was $2,000, and recently we have recieved $476.61 from two other schools in the US.   One of the schools is the Phoenix School in Salem, Massachusetts, where students raised Help us raise money for schools devestated by typhoon hainan. money by collecting coins for two weeks.  This money has been sent on to the schools just today.  In addition, we raised $150 of sales during the week that I offered to donate 100% of my sales from my Teachers Pay Teachers store to this worthy cause. In total, we have been able to raise $1,357.68 for these schools.  The teachers who were affected wanted me to send a huge “Thank You!” to all of you who purchased or donated.  They have used the money raised to buy supplies, rebuild roofs and paint classroom walls.  This has made the school day much more manageable for teachers and students.

While the money we have already raised has been helpful, there are still 3 more months of school for the students in these schools, and they still don’t have all of the supplies they need.  If you, or your students, would like to donate directly, we have set up a PayPal button for you to donate directly to these schools. 100% of donations will be sent directly to the schools.

Here’s more information about the schools we are helping, check out my original post about helping schools in the Philippines.
